We are extremely pleased to welcome readers to the new section on our website commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 1917 Russian Revolution. Over the course of the next 12 months we aim to provide historical analysis of the events that took place, re-publishing key articles and texts from the socialist movement and linking the events of 1917 to the struggles taking place today. With capitalism incapable of providing any sort of decent future for people across the planet the need to change society is greater than ever. The successful revolution of October 1917 is rich with lessons for those seeking to change society.
